We are a term time setting and our opening hours are:
Monday 9am - 12pm
Tuesday 9am-4pm
Wednesday 9am-4pm
Thursday 9am-3pm
Friday 9am-4pm
*Please note St Mary's Preschool Wootton is now full for September 2025, however, we are accepting applications for 2026*

Our current hourly rate for children who do not use government funded childcare hours, is £5.50 per hour.
We offer morning (9am-12pm), afternoon (12pm-3 or 4pm depending on day of the week), and all day sessions 9am - 3 or 4pm (apart from Monday). Lunch is taken within the afternoon session. Children arriving for the afternoon session or staying all day need to bring a packed lunch. Please get in touch if you have any questions about funding and how it is used here.
Welcome to St Mary’s Preschool
We are a friendly village preschool, established in 1967. We are based in the spacious Church Hall, with access to a large grassed, fenced off garden. We also have a mud kitchen, vegetable plot, herb garden and other sensory experiences.
Our well planned, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities are individually tailored to your child's needs. Children have access to a wide variety of resources which change daily to keep their minds active and ensure that new challenges are set.
Our caring, experienced and well-trained staff are there to welcome you, and nurture your child through play to achieve their early learning goals and to develop and progress through the Early Years Foundation Stage to prepare them for starting school.
We believe that children thrive in an environment where their own interests are valued, encouraged and celebrated.
